No. If it's not good quality junk, then it could cause skin allergies; rashes or itchiness.

Sure it can and I will not try to get medical on you so let me just say.. something in the junk jewelry will cause your skin to react
causing your skin to turn darker, get a Little rash.. So if your skin react you may want to take it off and spend a little more on your jewelry that your skin can tolerate. Hope I helped a little.

It shouldn't. However, I do know of cases where after a long use of one type of jewelry, especially necklaces, the person ended up with some ugly warts on the body. And these things, as you know, are contagious. So more warts came up later and she had to have them removed surgically. The doctor confirmed that it was due to the necklace she was wearing. She was most likely allergic to the cheap metals they use to make these things.
