All these trade rumors (put about by these stupid pundits at espn) are just rumors.

It's really tough to say what is going to happen.

Remember last year all the major trades that were "going to happen"---and nothing major did.

So, I expect a few guys to stay and a few guys to go.

I think David Dombrowski has something up his sleeve---and as usual, he aint saying.

So, we;ll have to wait and see like everyone else does.

I know I know....this is driving me crazy too!

Although a friend of mine knows a barber who used to know a friend that has a cousin who dated an ex-baseball player who once batted .148 in 1976 who knows a man who thinks he might be aware of a major trade.

However, this person is not naming his sources and wont tell me a thing.

It doesn't sound like too many big names will be moved. There are still so many teams in contention, which has many ballclubs feeling like they have a good shot at the playoffs. Second tier types of players will no doubt be dumped, such as last week when the Cubs sent Scott Williamson to the Padres. There will definitely be more of that. The most highly touted person that seems to keep coming up is the Phillies Bobby Abreu. He could very well end up with the Yankees.

I think Soriano is destined to go, because his contract is up at the end of the season, so the Nats would be willing to part with him for some decent prospects. He is a guy that can give you some serious offense. Tom Gordon is another guy that is likely to go as well, because relief pitching is in short supply and the Phils are totally out of contention. There are loads of possibilities, but I have a hunch that these guys will leave the NL East and go to contenders.

I think Soriano goes either to Detroit or Anaheim. If he goes to Anaheim, look out. I could see Sean Casey being dealt soon (Oakland is rumored to be his next new home). The Pirates are shopping people around, although I hope they don't trade anyone. Bobby Abreu could end up in Anaheim as well, but he's owed a boatload of money if someone picks up the option.

Obviously, as previous answers suggest, Soriano is going to be dealt.

But, I think the Orioles might try to shop Miguel Tejada. There going to try and get something big for him, so I'm not sure if other teams will bite. Personally, I think they're crazy to get rid of their best player, but the O's front office really seems to like this Brandon Fahey, who's just up from the minors, doing utility work right now for them.

You will see the Nationals make a lot of trades with their pitching and of course Soriano for young prospects. I think you are going to see very little trade activity this year anywhere else.

Soriano probably will go to the Angels. The only question is if the GM of the Angels will gives some prospects up. The Nat's do need prospects. Another hot guy on the market is Bobby Abreau. He could go to all sorts of teams.

Here in the Motor City (Detroit) there's talk about Alfonso Soriano coming to town. However, why tamper with perfection? The Tiger lineup is complete now that Dmitri Young's back.

To tell you the truth... I have no idea... with all the talks and all the players... and all the baseball people saying different things... I really don't know who is going where... just have to wait and see.
