Looks like you have a null reference - meaning you need to initialize your object before useing it. example
dim a as object = new object()
a.dosomething()

if you do not have 'new', you will get the error you are getting

Okay if your using ASP.net my bet is that you used findcontrol to find a control and never tested as to whether you actually found the control and then started using that reference.
Therefore it was null.

simple error...u might have named some controls wrong...or did some spelling mistakes..check it..
or u have set an control but forgot to give any reference to it
