It's not 40's glamour it's actually late roaring 1920's to 1930's part of the Harlem resistance look! The men should be wearing spats and zoot suits though!
To me the men in that video look a bit gay for that image!
But Christina does look good! but confusing video as it mixes so much styles form other places, could have kept it not so glammed up as well!
But fo r the stylish video she got Bryan Barber who done the Idelwild movie for Outkast as that is set in the 1930's
