I took some courses like these and found it harder..It seems that if you are a person who excels in an environment without a lot of structure you can do well in on line courses, I enjoyed them but did not do very well because I tended to postpone working on class work until the last minute. I did a lot better in a bricks and mortar type setting where I had to be at a certain place and a certain time of day. As far as the content goes..there really is no difference between web classes and regular.

wow the disadvantage is that you don't have enough time to get familiar with the design of the program which is used to input output upgrade and find information needed to successfully get through the first semester! most of the first term is learning the system and how to upload work and use discussion boards but the work is fantastic! I like it very much just needed more time in the beginning to learn the system and make sure you have everything you need to complete each and every class! i recommend Microsoft office word Access, outlook, excel word. Have everything needed, it is a must and Dsl you'll do just fine and have the time needed for study!

Many people are socially motivated. Online courses require self-motivation. If you are independent and do things on your own then you might be fine. But more of the situation is up to you.
The subject matter might be easier even but you are more on your own without as much structure, help and social support.

I don't believe in online courses, but I know people who have taken it and they say it's harder.

On-line courses are not hard at all since all you have to do it write a paper/essay - not tests at all! (but I assume that all depends on what subject you study.)
The best part is that you can "go to class" when you wont and when you have time...
