Hez are a bunch of radicals I'm not even going to associate with muslims because they don't follow the teachings of the Prophet.

Hez and Hamas want to see Palistine recognised as a country by the world but won't extend the same right to Israel. They want to destroy Israel.

Both Hez and Hamas have representatives who were elected to office. Hez does not constitute a majority of the Lebanese government like Hamas does but they have more physical power so they pretty much do as they please.

In short both groups are stupid hard headed idiots that want Israel destroyed. They lack the firepower to do the job and are not smart enough to recognise that fact but still they keep trying. And in the end they get more Arabs killed and hurt than Jews. Like I said they are hard headed AND stupid.

Hezbollah are nothing more than common thugs, drunk with the power their weapons give them. Those weapons come indirectly from Syria and Iran. Syria has acted more directly in Lebanese politics by assasinating the prime minister, and then funding their own puppet to take his place.

Insomuch as the Lebanese Army cannot control them, the terrorists may appear to many as "the government". Why shouldn't they? They operate with impunity throughout southern Lebanon and constantly threaten Israel to the south.

But are they the government? No. They are little cowards, who hide behind women and small children. They operate out of refugee camps. When these operation areas are retaliated against, they are able to hold up a dead child as evidence of "Zionist brutality". They have found willing accomplices for this propaganda in not only the Arab media outlets, but in the western media as well.

Hezbollah was "inspired by the success of the Iranian Revolution"[2] and was formed primarily to combat Israeli occupation following the 1982 Lebanon War.[3] Hezbollah follows the distinct Shia Islamic ideology developed by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.[4]

Along with the Amal movement, Hezbollah is the main political party and military organization representing the Shia community, Lebanon's largest religious bloc.[5] It is also a recognized political party in Lebanon, where it has participated in government.[6] The civilian wing participates in the Parliament of Lebanon, taking 18% of the seats (23 out of 128) and the bloc it forms with others, the Resistance and Development Bloc, 27.3% (see Lebanese general election, 2005). It is a minority partner in the current Cabinet. [citation needed]

Hezbollah not only has armed and political wings but also boasts an extensive social development programme. The civilian wing also runs hospitals, news services, and educational facilities. Its Reconstruction Campaign (Jihad al-Bina) is responsible for numerous economic and infrastructural development projects in Lebanon.[7][8] The group currently operates at least four hospitals, 12 clinics, 12 schools and two agricultural centres that provide farmers with technical assistance and training. It also has an environmental department and an extensive social assistance programme. Medical care is also cheaper than in most of the country's private hospitals and free for Hezbollah members.[9] Most experts believe that Hezbollah's social and health programmes are worth hundreds of millions of dollars annually.[9] Hezbollah mainly gets its money from donations. It is no secret that Hezbollah receives financial help from Iran and Syria, although Hezbollah denies receiving aid from Syria.[9]

Throughout most of the Arab and Muslim worlds, Hezbollah is highly regarded as a legitimate resistance movement.[10] The Lebanese government confirmed it as a legitimate resistance against occupation.[11][12] 74 percent of Lebanese Christians viewed Hezbollah as a resistance organization.[13] The United States and Israel consider Hezbollah a terrorist organization, claiming that the organization initiates attacks against civilians and ideologically supports such attacks by other organizations. The European Union does not list Hezbollah as a "terrorist organization",[14] but does list Imad Mugniyah.[15]

In a non-binding resolution adopted by the European Parliament on 10 March 2005, The EU Parliament considered that clear evidence exists of terrorist activities by Hezbollah and recommended that “ The EU Council should take all necessary steps to curtail them." MEPs urged the EU Council to brand Hezbollah a terrorist organization. However, the Council is reluctant to do so, as France, Spain, and Britain fear that such a move would further damage the prospects for Middle East peace talks.[16]

Many of the worst villain in history have tended to disguise themselves as do-gooders, to fool the people and get them on side. That is part of the game, think the IRA handing out free legal advice etc., Al Capone running soup kitchens during the depression. This lot are no different.
Recently these groups have turned to the fundmentalist muslim game, before that they were playing the marxist game. Lebanon has been training killers for decades, (European killers as well as Arabs etc). The strange constitution created when Lebanon was set up that shares power between Christians and Muslims has not been helped by a policy sometimes called "breeding politics", where Muslim women are forced to have far more children than they want, simply to get more voters and power, (not that they dare admit openly that this tyranny is happening). So take a divided nation, add a dolop of terrorism that threatens Lebanese more than Israeliis, and you have a recipe for perpetual trouble. We cannot solve this one!

Lebanon, in an act of preservation, allowed a few seats in
government to Hezbollah heirarchy, thinking that would help
integrate both Arab and Christians into Lebanonese society.
Boy, did that come around and bite them in the butt.
Hezbollah are civilian fighters bent on destroying Israel, along
with Hamas. Bully is what bully does. 'Bout time we took

They are a group of extremists who have over powered and corrupted the political government of Lebanon. They have supressed the Lebanese government for decades, and as a result the Lebanese people have no one to represent them and their best interest.

Hezbollah is funded by wonderful places such as the late Iraq, Iran and even Syria.
