Good one!
How dumb is it when some pro-abort says, "My mother should have had the right to an abortion!" Like, if she did, you wouldn't be here to spout off such nonsense...!
When my mother became pregnant with me, my grandmother asked her did she want an abortion, and my mother, right off the bat, said NO.

Good point, but how many pro-choicers are actually pro abortion? I know of quite a few women who are pro-Choice, but anti-Abortion; it sounds like a paradox, but pro-Choice does not indicate a willingness to embrace abortion, it simply means that these women (and men) believe that there should be more than one option...and they generally push for things like sex education as well, which of course leads to more informed decisions BEFORE pregnancy occurs, at least in theory, anyway.

yeah. You're missing an important point though. Pro-Choice does not always equal pro-abortion. I, personally, would not have an abortion but I am fiercely pro-choice. I believe all women should have the right to choose, even if their choice is different than mine.

OK. Doesn't change my opinion about a woman's choice. And you don't know that they valued their lives. How many of those were forced to have their children because family wouldn't allow them to explore all of their options, because laws at that time forbid a woman to make a choice, or because they simply didn't know where to go? Can your survey tell us the truth?

Right on.
Murder should not be a matter of choice. (once the baby begins to grow it is alive and killing it would be considered murder.)
Its just an over propagandized and argued Holocost.
I'm sure the Nazis could come up a world of excuses why its fine to kill Jews--*they're just not human*
and as disgusted as we are by their crimes now, we haven't fully learned the lesson yet have we?
We're legalizing an international slaughter of the innosent by this free choice.

jxt - For what it's worth, that man you're speaking to was ordered by Big Brother to register for selective service before he received the privilege to vote - a privilege which is automatically your, as a females, right. By registering for selective service, he understands that he can be, if Big Brother decides to get us into a big enough war, take him against his will and throw him into a war zone where, like hundreds of thousands of his brothers before him - he may die. If he decides not to register for selective service, Big Brother can take him and throw him in federal prison. Taking a person (and the attached body) and throwing them in prison and or a war zone IS dictating to a man what is done with his body. And all for something you take for granted as a female.

You are a man? Why do you think you can dictate what a woman should do with her own body? Not meaning to be rude, but its not really any of your own business--you wouldn't want Big Government dictating that you get your tubes tied, would you?

Ronald Reagan once said that "everyone who favors abortion has been born already."
It's more complicated than that - I have posted on this issue elsewhere - but I understand your point.
