Soon I will be moving to Alberta Region in Canada. My work experience is in Admin Support area. Would gents get jobs in this area in Canada? Or if I would want to study something technically, what would I choose so I can earn a very good income with which I can run my family? Please answer sincerely - thanks.

A man can get work in admin support but be prepared for low salary - admins do not get paid very well in Canada.

Since you moving to Alberta, the obvious choice in my opinion would be to get involved in the oil sands sector. In case you don't know the background - Northern Alberta has a huge quantity of oil that gets mined out of the sands to make petroleum products. Right now it is Canada's biggest industry. Their economy is so hot they can't find enough people to work in the oil sands. There are many job possibilities - general labourer, maintenance mechanic (like a millwright), engineering, etc. As a general labourer you can make great money, $60,000 - $100,000 with some overtime. The only downside is that Northern Alberta is very remote, not really any big cities or anything.

If you would rather be in a bigger city and not in the oil sands, I still think a skilled trade would be a great choice. Millwright or electrician - they are in high demand.

Good luck!
