I never have, but I have come close on occasions. Every relationship has its ups and downs, and if a situation presents itself in one of these downs, it is hard to not think about it.
I always stop myself by coming to the conclusion that if I needed to cheat, I need to break off the existing relationship first. Then the new relationship is not cheating. That is how I did it on one occasion.
Cheating comes about when the cheater is hedging their bet. Looking for something else without letting go of what they already have. It is a form of selfishness.

I think there a a lot of guys who really do love there wives and don't cheat. They probably have come close but sometimes they look at the little gold band on there fingers and stop.

Believe it or not but most guys are not cheaters and you know what we think that women are cheaters too which is wrong so my answer would be YES there r a lot who r not cheating

FYI - golden wedding anniversaries do not mean that someone one did not cheat, husband or wife. It could also mean s/he was not caught or s/he was forgiven by the other.
Frankly, I do not think they are a lot of men or women who do not cheat in one way or another.

Yes, there are a lot of faithful males out there, like there are a lot of faithful females. You see the the golden wedding anniversary announcement in the newspapers every now and then, don't you?

Cheating is not about gender..its in the individual. I know my husband will never cheat on me because when his best friend cheated on his wife(whom my husband doesn't even like) he lost respect for him and cut all ties.

90 % of guys who cheat on their girlfriends
40 % of girls who cheat on their boyfriends
So guys have more rate on cheating their partners. They do it before they are married and they still do it even when they are marriend and have children and grandchildren. how pathetic is that.
