If winnie the pooh was civilized enough to keep his honey in jars, why did he eat it off his hands? Surely he had spoons?

yeah, but he didn't have any opposable thumbs or fingers to hold a spoon with. So I guess the easiest way was to dip his paw in the honey and lick it off. I would have done it that way too. But he didn't always use his paw, remember? Sometimes he just stuck his face in the jar and then it would get stuck.
And you also gotta remember that he was stuffed with fluff so that means he had fluff for brains.... hmmm.... kinda makes you wonder how he ate all that honey without clumping up his insides and making them all sticky... he would have looked really lumpy if it had...lol... they would have had to change his name to Lumpy the Pooh... :P

Ah yes silly old winnie the pooh.....
And that whole, stuck in a hole thing, eh, hes made of cotton, and, how is he eating honey anyway. Again, hes made of cotton, where does it all go?!!

If you ever notice Winne-the-Pooh does not have fingers, so he's unable to hold a spoon.

he likes the gooie feeling of honey on his paws!

because he is a stupid mammal who eats a bunch, has no friends, lives in a forest. but i dont get it,if he lives in a forest why does it show him in peter robins room? i guess ishould be answering, not asking.
