Mary's lyrics may have more substance,but whe it comes to judging the best voice,Beyonce's better,hands down.Her range is better,she has more octaves,a clearer voice.I could go hear someone sing JUST like Mary at any gospel church.

Mary J Blige is a better singer but not always up to scratch live!
But her songs aern;t as good anymore, favourite being Be Happy!
Beyonce is a great singer but writes sh*T songs though but needs to stop over singing as when she does it sounds tiredsome!
She wrecks Me Myself and I with that cat screaming crap at the last two mintues of the song!
