Since I have stopped working out like 3 years ago I have noticed that my left tricep and pectoral muscle are stronger then my left? I am right handed. How can this be explained? So now when I do push ups or do bench presses my right arm gives out significantly before my left. When I played sports and was always training this never happened. anyone have any clues?

Your dominant hand is responsible for finite motor movement and therefore does less "heavy work".

your non-dominant hand is technically the power horse and will feel stronger. You can correct this by getting back into a sound fitness regimen.

Have you been carrying things/bags etc on your left side? Even though you are right handed you may only use the right hand to write or do minute things, and may use the left side to carry bags etc so you may be using those muscles of the arm on the left side more.
