Delete your cookies and internet history (go to the internet window, click tools, internet options, then you'll get a little window pop up where you can click 'delete cookies', 'clear history' and then leave it overnight to 'delete files')
Defragment your hard-drive. Go to start menue/accessories/system tools/disk deframentor. It'll open a window, just click defragment. You'll need to leave this overnight. In the same place you should find a programme called 'disk cleanup' - run this, too.
Delete any old files or programmes on your computer that you're not using. I have a habit of downloading free trial versions of programmes before I buy them, and always find I have lots to delete when I go to clean up my computer! While photos and word documents do count, pay particular attention to the bigger files, such as music, videos/movies and systems programmes. To delete programmes from your computer, go to stary/control panel/add remove programmes. Just only remove things you are certain you don't need! If in doubt, ask someone with PC knowlege.
Do a full virus/spyware scan. If you've picked up something (and it's easier than you might think) it would slow down your computer a lot, then kill it. Easier to scan now than be without a computer later!
Re-start. This only really works if it's being short-term slow, but sometimes giving the poor thing a break is what it needs!
Hope this helps, good luck with your computer!

i think of they did a neat trick whilst they switched "form" for "simulation". sure whilst pc simulations are used in the layout of a great variety of tech now. They constantly seem to desire to attempt a minimum of a scaled down version in a wind tunnel or water tank first in the previous they bypass on with actual existence techniques.

Go to MY COMPUTER and right click on your C drive and go to Properties.
Do a disk cleanup. Then do a disk compression.
Then do a disk defrag so that it will organize your hard drive.
Then go to START, then RUN. Type msconfig and hit enter. Go to the startup tab and uncheck the unnecessary programs that run during startup. Just check the ones you DEFINITELY need.
Reboot.
