'The Craft'. I first saw it when I was really little (i'm only 16 now, I think I was about 10 when I first watched it, maybe younger) and i've loved it ever since. It's one of those movies you can enjoy over and over, and it never grows old, and it teaches some interesting lessons too - appreciate yourself for who you are, don't take advantage of people, and be yourself - love will prevail.
Another is 'The Fifth Element' - I can't even begin to say how many times i've watched it over the years! The charecters capture you from the off, you can't help but fall in love with them and care about what happens to them. The storyline is vibrant and witty, and the sf/graphics are very good for it's time.
And my final one is 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' - it's masterful, and a dream to watch. All the movements and martial arts and beautiful, and the storyline is fantastically tragic. It's a must-see!

Rocky
.
It captured the spirit of an underdog mentality. Being from Philly, I have a special appreciation for the film. The characters represent several different people I know. Stallone did a phenomenal job telling the story of a working class Philadelphian in a tough economic times....it's not just a boxing movie, contrary to popular belief.

My favorite movie has got to be Lost in Translation. When I watch that movie something about the way the scenes flow and the tone of the music makes it so irresistable and flawless to me. I could watch it time and time again and find it entertaining. It is a beautiful movie and I'm glad it was made.

Hi Dr.... I would say that would be Dances with Wolves,,,, and because it is an epic about the life and times in a part of American history that is not written about that much,,,, it shows the good and bad side of Native Americans,, instead of the way the old westers did.... well written and filmed,, it will stand as a Movie for Americans about Americans.....
good luck
