Politicians are shrewd when dealing with journalists. I don't agree with your premise that journalists ask important questions. Journalists usually have an agenda of their own and often ask loaded or leading questions. They are frequently trying to create a story, as often as report on a story, to sell advertising and/or promote their careers.
For example: The journalist asks "Do you still beat your wife?" He cannot answer "yes" or "no" to such a question. His response might be: "I believe in equal rights for women." When the journalist knows he is asking the leading question, his point is made and it is not necessary to try to force a yes or no answer.
Politicians want the free air time and free face time. They are interested in promoting their own agendas.

The reporters on CNN interview people with the hope of getting
a "scoop" before other news organizations do. But CNN fails
miserably at that approach time and time again. They need some new reporters out there that can report the "news".
Better yet, change the channel !

with the aid of fact the Bilderberg team is a sham thought that folk use as a scapegoat to blame the worldwide's issues. this is like believing in God and asserting each sturdy element is his fault, or that each and all the evil in the worldwide is devil's fault. the worldwide is plenty extra complicated than that...

Because they're smart enough to know that answering it would either reveal that they're not on the up and up or that they've served their own interests AND dumb enough not to realize that people are smart enough to know when they see a smoke and mirrors act.
Politicians! They give honest people a bad name.
