Saladin was admired by the Christian Crusaders for his courage and chivalry. The Crusader King Richard the Lionheart wanted to make peace with the Muslims by having his sister marry Saladin's brother. His sister refused.

saladin was a famous warrior of d ottoman empire during d crusades. he was famed 4 his courage. he's a muslim of coz,so i have no idea why christians would name their son after him.lots of famous n brave christian soldiers/leaders too.
