why do we always approve of what our media offers to us ?

A lot of poeple don't approve. Many people are so suspicious of the media due to let downs in the past or because of it's long standing connection with politics, that most people I know now prefer to make up their own minds about things ranging from a new flavour drink right through to world problems.

Just because a few people find it easier to let the media think for them, remember the majority of people know how to use their own minds, and don't just blindly follow like sheep.

Because it's been thrown into our faces for so long we're just molded into reading that and watching that. It's terrible, but MTV makes millions of dollars a year off of teenagers and pornographic, soft or hardcore (they're the same thing), images come on the screen of MTV eight times an hour! MTV is crap! We don't need to watch that stuff.

I don't and most people with a brain or an opinion take it all with a small grain of salt! We would be fools to believe everything we here.. But there are a lot of fools out there..

because its instant gratification, and it tells us what we want to hear.

The majority of the American public hates bush, the middle east including Israel, hates war or anything like war, the price of gas, is afraid of the weather, likes political angst... and that is all you hear on the news because thats what we're willing to pay to have fed to us.

News companies get MONEY from the news, not warm fuzzy feelings for educating the masses.
