Ok. Everytime I see the commercial for People PC, I laugh. What are we, in the stone age again? 1997? It's dial up internet. Yes, dial up. Not highspeed whatsoever. Do people actually use that anymore?
Why would someone sign up for that, when there's aol broadband, and local cable carriers that carry dsl and cable. How do they stay in business?

Advertise that they have hundreds of dial up numbers, more than AOL has ever had. wow. (sarcasm)

YES. I know, I know it sucks soooo bad. I live in the woods pretty much and cannot get anything else. I hate it. I can only stay dialed in for maybe 10 min at a time and then something disconnects me - either a lousy line or People PC, I dont know. Either way, when I am online it is painfully slow. SO yes I have dial-up, but not because I am a caveman.

I have Peoplepc for about 7 years. I was about the hundred person t o use the service. You are correct it is a little out dated in terms of speed but, it works well. I would change them but I do not want to loose my email address. So I got an additional provider on my computer because because I wanted the service of SUNROCKET low rate telephone ...... it is like VONAGE
