Ahh, you see now, everyone here has already missed the point. This is a geography question, after all, it's in the geography section! The werewolf, Canis sapiens lycanthropis, originated from Old Britain, were it migrated away from its original species, Canis lupis, thousands of years ago. The most effective known process is the werewolf bite.

Other methods are possible, wearing of werewolf skins, drinking of water from werewolf pawprints, but these methods of using osmosis to gain lycanthropy aren't particularly effective. Direct infusion is still considered the best way.

However, there are some risks involved in this method, like getting ripped apart by the werewolf before you can convert. Werewolves are very territorial, and so usually attack other werewolves immediately. A more common problem is getting bitten by the wrong creature. Every year, thousands of unlucky individuals seeking to gain lycanthropy actually get bitten by domestic dogs, thus converting them to Canis sapiens familiaris, namely the irrepressable urge to turn into a Jack Russell Terrier every full moon.

There has been some study into the use of a modern-technology blood transfusion (perfectly human to the animal, of course) as a better means of gaining lycanthropy, but actual human volunteers ready to undergo the experiments are sparse. So maybe you could try it that way?

A werewolf (or lycanthrope) in folklore and mythology is a person who shapeshifts into a wolf, either purposely, by using magic, or after being placed under a curse. The medieval chronicler Gervase of Tilbury associated the transformation with the appearance of the full moon, but this concept was rarely associated with the werewolf until the idea was picked up by modern fiction writers. Most modern references agree that a werewolf can be killed if shot by a silver bullet, although this is more a reflection of fiction's influence than an authentic feature of the folk legends

BECOMING A WEREWOLF:

There are several ways to become a werewolf. They include being givin the power of shape shifting through sorcery, being cursed by someone who you have wronged in some way (called Lycaeonia curse), being bitten by a werewolf, and being born to a werewolf. In each case, the blood becomes tainted or cursed.

At the Center of Biomedical Research in Guadalajara, Mexico geneticist Dr. Luis Figuera is studying a Mexican family with a rare genetic mutation that causes fur like hair to grow all over their bodies. This werewolf disorder has mysterious resurfaced for the first time since the middle ages. The gene that causes the mutation lay dormant for centuries. It can be passed through either parent in the "X" chromosone. This is known as the "Werewolf Disorder".

In the Aceves family...32 members...all have this disease. They live in a mountain town named Zacatecas in Mexico. The hair covers much of their body...even in females. Some members of the family have more hair than others. One of them performs as a wolfman in a traveling circus. They are discriminated against by the local people.

Congenital hypertrichosis universalis, or ‘human werewolf syndrome,’ is a rare genetic disorder characterized by the excessive growth of hair across the entire body, especially the face and upper torso. Cases have been chronicled for centuries, including Petrus Gonsalvus, whose portrait may be found in Vienna’s Kunsthistorisches museum, the Aceves family from the mountain town of Zacatecas, Mexico (32 family members have the disease), and the guy who asked this question. Hypertrichosis is currently incurable, but sufferers typically enjoy active, healthy lives. It also has nothing to do with shaving.

As weird as you think this question is, years ago I picked up a couple to go sailing. When I arrived, both were white with fright. From the balcony of their unlit hotel window, they saw a man pull on a coke pipe and "literally turned into a werewolf." They were so terrified that they spoiled our sailing day. years later during my first exorcism, I witnessed the same thing happen right before my very eyes. The man growled a horrible growl in front of a major department store. You should have see people scamper. I mention these things to say that I hope that embedded personalities are not putting those thoughts in your head. If you have serious sleep disruption, repeat nightmares, eating disorders, strange addictive behaviour (compulsive masturbation) and growling sounds in your abdomen---read Lucifer dethroned by William and Sharon Schnoebelen.

Tape a cassette in a harsh and spookey voice full of this sentence " you are a warewolf."
Listen to it for three contineus nights with your walk man.....

It will effect you physicologically and hopefully you will start behaving like one...

If you want a more perfect result... hunt for one and ask him to bite you any ways :D
