I dont wanna be judgemental but are you seriously trying to see why this guy is a bully or idiot as you put it? since you have not given much info. and I hate to give a one sided opinion. See sometime people react to an action by other people in a way that may portray them as a bully but in fact they are doing that out of fear of being bullied so they take the upper hand to keep the bully at bay, so basically they are telling you to watch out or they can be the same. Its all a bluffing game for bullies. Come on for god's sake you cannot make a bully realise that he is an idiot as he may not be as not all bullies are idiot. Some of them are really leading a frightfull and paranoid lives. Its just the way they learned how to protect themselves. If you look at the background of any bully you will see that at some point in their life they have been the victim of bullying themselves, so they learned to deal with it by acting a bully so bullies dont come around him. After a while of bullying and getting away with it they even start to get a kick of scaring people so they continue and become real big professional bullies. Now has this guy reached that stage yet of being big professional bully or is he just testing the water? Dont act as if you are scared because that is what they love to see. Look them straight into the eyes and if things started to get physical then talk to the police as well. I wouldnt worry about making him realise he is an idiot, let the professional do that when the time is right (perhaps in prison). Good luck

P.S. Looking at your 360 degrees which I thought is really disgusting - To be honest it made me ashamed of being a Council worker myself, that some of us can act so low on public domain - by the way I am sure loads of decent people wont think your a...e or whatever else you may call that is a nice sight anyway - If I were you I would take that off first before starting to ask for help on bullying issues because that just show who is the bully by nature. Sorry for being honest but maybe one day even you agree with me that this is not a nice 360 degree.

Give him every opportunity to experience the consequence of his idiocy. Tell him how grateful you are to have his guidance and support, for you don't know how you possibly could have made it this far in life without his superior wisdom & guidance. Thank goodness that we have you (the bully) as the neighborhood deputy to set us all on the "correct" path. Agree with the crazy things he says, and then follow his line of thought to it's logical conclusion -- which no doubt is ridiculous, and then you just say, shazam! I've always wanted to.....___________ (whatever that ridiculous thing was. )

I had a neighbor, who had some bratty kids. One of the kids had bratty friends. One of the friends, on a Saturday night came to the house and RANG THE DOORBELL at 11:30 at night. I answerred, and she said, in a REAL weird voice,"Can I get some marijuana?" I called the police. The police started, and she RAN back across the street to the neighbor's house, and THEY PULLED her outta that house! Guess what? We've not had any problems outta those neighbors in a WHILE!!

Someone who is bullying you will never realize he is an idiot unless, something happens to him and he is in touch with himself to realize that, that is how others feel when he bully's them. He is probably hurting and chooses to take it out on you. Just stay away from that neighbor, is my best advice and if it gets worst then tell your parents or his. I hope I was helpful.

You don't... you lower yourself to his standards with that kind of thinking... steer clear, ignore, get on with life... if he still persist... report him to police... or, landlords, and get an injunction.

Coming back and arguing, is what a bully wants. Going on the defensive is as well, all reaction is.

No reaction, both confuses and bores him! Then he'll look for another target!
