make sure you have something on the card
if i put my card in without anything on it
it do`s not register or show either
if i put one item a picre or anything then it shows so try this first
put something on it
then put it back in

last option is make sure that if you format it
you did it int the camera or whatever you use it for

my first cards i used format through the computer
after i did this i could not use the cards as the computer did this in fat32
for a computer format
took them to my cousin
who is well into computers
he checked my memory cards (SDcards i have)
then done another format in fat only they worked again

so hope one of these options work for you

Make certain that connection is tight. Unplug and replug it in firmly. The plug, not the card. (it works for me)
