Canada Customs suggest you apply at least a month before your departure. Better safe than sorry.

The New Delhi Embassy says they try process tourist visas within 2 weeks. But they make no guarantees.

It takes 3 days to process

Visa section working Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday only

» Passangers to pay VFS charges Rs. 520/- per passport.

» The Photograph should not be generated through computer.The photograph must be camera clicked and only passport size photographs with white background will be accepted by the embassy otherwise case will not be accepted.

if you try directly then maybe years and if through agent then 3 months..
