Personally, I wouldn't buy the aquarium at Walmart. The customer service would be better at your local pet store; they'll be able to help you find exactly what you are looking for. If you don't know much about the aquarium hobby, make sure you do lots of research on both the fish tank and the inhabitants you would like to put in there. As far as the prices and sizes, they vary. The bigger the tank the more expensive it will be. You can buy package deals at most pet stores - which would be the tank, stand, hood and lighting. If you stick with All-Glass Aquariums, you will notice that they are better quality. A 10 gallon fish tank goes (in Wisconsin, at least) for about $50. If you're looking for something bigger, a 55 gallon goes for around $250. Hope all this helps.

petco actually has really good prices on aquariams--i don't advise getting anything else there though. most of the animals are usually pretty deseased =/

you'll most basically need the actuall aquarium, a light / cover, and a filter, and wal*mart has a really good deal for all of that. for $50, you can get all of that (a 10gallon) + stress coat liquid (to get rid of germs and chemicals in the water), a heater, a fish net, and a couple quick manuals. after that, go get some rocks, plants, and fish! it all ran me about $80 to get totally started up, which is pretty cheap concidering some other prices i looked at...

It always depends on size and glass thickness, some people use mirrors on one wall.
Usually 70x25x35cm aquarium can be $20, smaller are cheaper

for some aquariums, arc shaped glass is used to give better view.

I'd advise you to design your own at a glass shop it would be cheaper and you can design the dimensions u want

I really don't advise you to trap fishes in a small aquarium...

No matter how big it is, it won't be as big as their home, the sea/river...

Do them a favour and get a cat instead....

There are different prices and designs in tanks available. For instance, you can find tanks in a hexagon shape. Some are even available with a bowed front (called bowfront). If you really wanted, you could even get a tank custom-made to your specifications.

Good luck with your new hobby!
