Almost every time I start gitting cramp before I start my period. Sometimes they start before and I stop getting them a day or two before, or start before and last though out most of my period. Every girl I know talks about getting cramps while on their period it makes me wonder if Iam the only girl that get them before. Is this normal?

Don't worry. It sounds to me like your normal. Not every woman's period is the same. Some woman, like yourself, experience some cramps right before they go to start their period. While other get no warning sign what so ever and start their period and have the cramps. As long as they are not extremely severe along with really heavy period compared to your normal period I wouldn't worry. You are going to be just fine.

Completely normal! Don't worry. There are some nice over the counter meds available to help deal with the discomfort. Heating pads help, too. I went on the pill because mine were so bad I'd be buckled over crying my eyes out. It has made my periods very short and light. I can actually function in the real world now. It ain't easy being a woman.

Yes it is normal to have different kinds of cramps for about a year after you first have a period. If you have had this problem longer than one year, I would suggest you go see a gynecologist.
