Having been through both, a wedding is simply a ceremony in which you celebrate the beginning of the marriage; the marriage itself lasts a lifetime or until annulment, divorce, or death. Simply stated, a wedding is for a day but a marriage is for a lifetime.

Wedding is a one time ceremony that EVERYONE enjoys, however marriage is LIFELONG, not easy, and downright hard. And when it gets too tough, then everyone just says, "ok, I've had enough" , "I quit".
Wow, if we could enjoy the marriage as much as the wedding.
