Hi,
We will give reservations no problem, but problem is opposition team will not give them any reservation like no LBW, if he hits 4 it will be treated 6 etc etc.
Better would be, let us make a Govt. Cricket team and Private team, keep reservations in Govt team, let us play international cricket with both the teams and then see results.

Reservation should be for upliftment or for financial support to the weaker section of the society.
But in India this has been misused either politically or making the things in such a way that only a particular class of reserved category takes its advantage.
The rule should be.... only once this right could be exercised. What is the point of giving benefit to the son or daughter of a well settled person belonging to the reserved category !!!
Madam, where skill or knowledge is required there should not be any compromise.....
You know that due to zone wise selection also many players were representing the area in which they never lived !!!

No reservation plz.... !!! Cricket is a game of talent & NOt of reservation... Having reservation of any kind wud mean missing out on playerz like Sachin, Rahul, Saurav, Kumble, Srinath, Dhoni & alikes!!
Well i agree dat there shud be financial backup & better facilites shud be provided to the Lower strata ppl but then giving them a fixed percentage in d team can hamper d quality of players.
Suppose,
We put reservation, say of economically weak section & say that 2 players out of the playin 11 have to be frm financialy weak section... now if v replace deserving & more talented players wid less talented ppl juz cz they hv a reservation in d team for being frm the poor class of society.. WUD DAT BE FAIR ???
And itz nt this dat ppl havent come frm the economicaly weaker class... Munaf Patel is one of them & so is Irfan Pathan!!

There will be many changes from a team to team. And also between Boards also.
I think you like that system bu thte BCCI had adopted this technique with a good reason that every good player should play in the team with out the matter of the province.

when the whole people of INDIA are opposing the reservations On EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS here comes the one who support RESERVATIONS.....
probably u misunderstood the term or really don't know a bit about it.......

already indian cricket suffers from unwanted POLITICS and troubles...
Do u know what happened to SOUTHAFRICA whrn their was APARTHEID SYSTEM and blacks were not allowed and then given QUOTA PLACES.............what resulted?
S.AFRICA were banned from CRICKET For a long period of time.....
UNLESS u r not a fan of INDIAN CRICKET u can't even dream of this..............

In South africa some of them are english peoples., those peoples can play than black africans., Mostly english peoples are from europe countries., But blacks are their countrymen., For India no need of reservations., because no one are foreigners., Or no foreigners tooking up a game., All of them are Indians., Why should we need a reservation to play for our country.

reservation mean that one who has no quality but they reach ahead just for thier racial effect and somewhat their economy i dont want to say that they they never get quality but when they see that without makes any effort they can get better so they think that who the hell think about quality just use reservation and go such type of mentality never reach ur country ahead so i think that it is a good sign for india that there is no reservation in indian team.

i think people who come from poor backgroung should b encourage,they should b provided with all facilities free of cost ,reservation should b on the basis of economic condition or talent ,,so the best player can b selected ,,
