The "Clap your hands" lamp...the woman in it reminded me of the "Where's the Beef?" lady...and then she raises these very large hands and...(I am laughing as I write this...I don't know why...but it just cracks me up.) and as they rave about their product, every few seconds we get treated to the same lady clapping her hands over and over and over again...and they can only say so much about the lamp...so they have to show us yet again how we should clap our hands to make it work...and in case we didn't get it the first time...they show us again! And they were very, very serious about their product...no one is smiling...and they are presenting it as though it is the latest miracle medical discovery (and the clapping continues into their fade-out). O god...I have tears running down my face...several years later I saw a Jerry Seinfeld episode where he casually claps his hands for his own lamp while in the middle of a conversation...and it had a trigger effect on me...and it set me off all over again. There was just something about that lamp...
