Crete is a big beautiful island in south Greece.
There are many places to visit there, first you could begin from the capital of each department: Xania, Hrakleio,Rethymno,Agios Nikolaos. There are great beaches full of sun, and gorgeous mountains in south Crete you could walk in the revine of Samaria, and visit some great vilages with great views. If you are interest about antiquity you could visit Knossos and the palace of king Minos. Wish you a happy trip whenever you go!.

crete is beautiful and worth to visit. one week is not very long but you will find everything you can imagine.
great beaches, towns to make party, wonderful landscape and culture...
We where in heronissos... a little bit noisy but a good place to start your holidays...
the beach is not so good there.. travel a little west.. agios nicolaos and it will be wonderful
