To clarify the question more: We have access to many tv stations(with many different types of channels...from news to animal life and entertainment), we have so many nwespapers and magazines, satellite, internet, books..and all of the mentioned
come in many languages, and are almost available in all countries to a lesser extent in some and a greater extent in others.....and i guess you get my point here.
But if you take the averge guy in a modern country who has access to some of the above, still most people remain ignorant to anything which is not within their own environment..wether it be as simple as a type of food...or to more complex topics, and more important is that they tend to make opinions about things which they dont understand and this is the thing which makes one label them as ignorant.........I cant make myself more clear bcs i just have 44 more characters to work with and that definitely is not enough, is it clear enough now?
