the excessive portrayal of women as mere sexual and nude objects have made them lose their RESPECT in society
PS...i'm NOT talking abt all kinds of women, but due to some of them the whole female sex has been affected
many of u mite find this portrayal very NORMAL n KEWL but as a gal i think it's sad

I agree, I think woman is to blame for that though. We have a choice and we could tell men that we don't want to be sexual objects. It is very sad for other women who don't want men to see us that way. Being a slut is not cool or cute, it is shameful and disgraceful. We should have more care about our bodies and respect for ourselves and each other. Good question.

only when they are degrated because of it. If it's for art, that's a different story. we are taught to respect and admire their beauty, and I do!!!
If it's in porn or stuff like that, then yes, that's definetly changing peoples ideas into nothing more than a sex object to fantasize over.

i think it is a vicious cycle... people portray such stuff in the media. sadly, many people think it is hip and follow what media dictates they should be. this confirms what media has said and it continues to portray women in this light and the cycle goes on... sad...

its not entirely true.. u find all symbols in females.. mother, sister, friend etc. its the lookout of the person and the way one is potrayed. is true for both males and females.
