I got married on Friday the 13th, and we've been together for four years with no problems. (Thirteen is my lucky number.)

Well I believe that lucky numbers are a sort of way to comfort our minds. And also possibly it is a way for us as a species to explain chance as something more as we are humans and we like to believe theres a lot more to things than thats just how it is.But no I dont believe in lucky numbers I have my favorite numbers which are 3, 11, and 15 but they have never shown signs of being lucky.

No. To the Cantonese the number 8 is lucky because it sounded like "luck" and the number 4 means "death". To another dialect the number 8 sounded like the word "mad" and to the Malays the number 4 means "recieved". So what is in a number. Nothing at all except superstitution. However charlatans will have you believe in them so that they can make a quick buck from you. It also allows them to have power over you. Your belief in the luck of such numbers allow them to mislead you into believing that your life can change.

lucky numbers are actually made within the back of our minds. we only believe they are.. but actually, they are plain numbers. there may be coincidences that would make us believe that they are our "lucky number" but they only happen by chance. people might correlate our favorite number with the lucky number and that does not make it enough to be real lucky numbers. it's simply: "numbers are lucky because we think they are."

In my life number 1 has been mostly lucky for me.
