ofcourse not....we can't insult our own intelligence. Conning ourselves does not solve any problems and fades too fast. there is no conviction in conning ourselves and so its shortlived. Instead, try invoking belief in ourselves and fuel it with deeds that compliment that belief...that make it stronger each day....that's what will bring true happiness. Say "I can" and not "I con"

Absolutely not! People tend to resent in others what they despise within themselves. If we con ourselves, that creates a ready supply of things to hate about the people we encounter in turn causing tremendous internal turmoil and free-floating anxiety. We are conned by so many outside influences; Gov't.,Doctors, and Lawmakers; that only by being brutally honest with ourselves can we find happiness. I have been asked "What if I don't like myself?" Well, finally you have met someone that you don't like that you can change.

The individual is paramount. Strive to produce value and the byproduct will be increased happiness. If you are stagnant and not causing growth in your life, happiness will still lie far off in the distance. If you want it, go get it. It is always moving and ever so elusive, but if you reach for it you can attain it.

Happiness comes from having ones desires and needs fulfilled on a regular basis. The mind refers to these moments and generates the response of being happy. Being dishonest to oneself can generate happiness when the person believes that it is reality. The media can produce these responses and trick the mind into this belief. Ignorance is bliss.
