Every one of my friends is divorced. I'm the only one of the bunch still married and everytime we get together I leave when it's time to leave. They call me p**sy whipped. I tell them it's respect for my wife. Ladies, would it bother you if your husband had these types of friends but still showed commitment to you over his friends. It's no wonder their divorced and I'm still HAPPILY married to the most remarkable woman I've ever met. Melissa if you're reading this, yes sweetheart, I mean every word of it.

Well I think you can keep your friends but maybe you and your wife can find friends that you both enjoy and have more in common like marriage, to me this sounds as if they are jealous that you have a special love in your life and they don't. I admire that you are commited so much, but I know everyone has a weak moment so with that said, I would stay in touch with old friends but look for friends that are happy that you are Happy, Good Luck!

No. You are not whipped. My dad was the most masculine man I've ever met, and he never caroused with his friends in my parents' 39 years of marriage. And they were married very young. You're right that it's no wonder they are divorced (although there are many reasons for divorce; this is just one). You just continue to stand firm in how you feel about your life. If you are happily married, then go ahead and flaunt it! At some point, when these other men meet someone else, they will be coming to you for advice. Your wife is a lucky woman!

Thats very sweet! You are a good man and right to put your wife first. They call you a pussy because they are jealous of what you have. Dont let them ruin you too! They are divorced for a reason. And would it bother me if my husbands friends were all divorced?? Maybe a little but if it does bother your wife I can understand why she feels that way. Just dont let them influence you. I am afraid because my man is easily influenced and his friends are the kinds of guys who buy hookers on the weekends for fun.

Bro, you are whipped all ways known to man. You need to cough and let your nuts drop. It sounds to me like you and your old lady have some insecurity or maturity issues. It has nothing to do with your friends being divorsed. It has to do with you being a wuss. And, if your old lady wasn't insecure, she wouldn't want you to look like a wuss in front of your friends

Stop it!! Right now! Do not listen to them, they just want you to join their team. and I am sure that you really don't want that. If you know what you have, and I am sure that you do, make sure that you keep it!! Do not lose it. It would bother me if I knew that my man's friends were saying the things they are trying to poison your mind with. Be good, true, faithful, and remember the commitment you made.

I think that you're doing the right thing by respecting her wishes. She should have no problem with it as long as you can compromise. As long as you don't allow their negative attributes to have any influence over you, I think you'll be just fine. And kudos for mentioning your wife.
