There are justified means of destruction of property and life just like in the following situations wherein the state uses police power:

1. To destroy a building to stop the rampage of fire to save the whole city;
2. To execute criminals who committed heinous crimes; and
4. To isolate people stricken by killer deseases to prevent an epidemic.

Life, hmmm. I don't know. I would feel completely justified in taking the life of anyone who molested my child or one of my nieces or nephews.

As for property. Yes. Drug dealers and other people who exploit other human beings to gain their property should have to watch as their property is smashed to pieces before their eyes.

I think it is OK to sacrifice animal life for the sake of medical research. Computer models are very far from appropriate for simulating living organisms.
