It cannot go behind your eyeball. Your eyeball is attached superiorly and inferiorly to your eyelid (tarsal plate) that prevents anything from slipping behind. It is possible for it to go back a little ways and become stuck but it will not go behind.

I know some people who informed me that they had hard contact lenses come off the front of the eye and go somewhere else only to reappear a couple of days later. In short, the people who said that it can not happen are wrong on this point!

I doubt it because youre eyes are attached to the inside of your head with nerves or something (don't know the correct medical term) which allow the signals you receive through your eyes to be perceived as sight in the brain!

So I don't think this is possible.

l.m afraid they can l lost one , and got a new one , then about a week later my new lenes flicked out and the one l had lost went back into place and even through one had come out l could not understand why l could see, then it clicked that it must of gone behind my eye , yours may do the same, but maybe you should get it checked on,

I've had them stuck underneath my eyelid before but never behind the eyeball.

Don't worry, they can't do that! I was really worried about that happening before I got contacts but optician explained that there is no way that this is possible.

no its very unlikely that can happen although you dom need to take care when ypou put them in so don't worry
