feeling pain is kind of tool to inform us the danger. bugs do not have the same nerve system as us, but they do have another set of nerve system warning them the danger, which function quite different. they don't feel pain when they hurted, but they will dysfunction as we do.

I don't know if bugs feel pain as we know it, after all fish aren't supposed to feel pain, ask any big game fisherman who loves to torment them for hours on end.......
but I'm sure that they have some sort of equivalent, God created all things with whatever they needed for all aspects of their survival or protection.........
Pain or not, even the worst kind of bugs deserve to be despatched as quickly and as painlessly as possible.....

Its not likely. Pain is a function of the nervous system and that of a bug is so primitive that it can't handle the data.

my brother lived in a NASTY apartment building and when he lived there he taught me something----cockroaches scream when you light them on fire. So, I would have to say yes, insects feel pain

a friend of mine use to put a lit lighter to them......now mine you i hate bugs.....but i got all over her and she finally stopped....she just didn't think about it...
