use a good clear base coat.. 2 coats of nail polish .. and then a top coat. sounds like a lot of work but your nails will never be yellow again! Try buffing your nails with a basic nail buffer. the stains are only on the top layer of your nail. discoloration happens when you wear dark colors and it stains the top nail layer. thats why you have to use a base coat.

best thing is to stop polishing ur nails all the time and it will go away.. U should only use 1 time per week the polish remover thingie and for sure u must not have ur nails polished all the time.. they need air =P after u remove the polish leave ur nails natural for a few days..

1st. remove ur nail polish with aceton ar any medical production
2nd.wait 2 or 3 days while ur nails get rest from polishing
3rd. soak your fingers in a solutin of lemon juice without water for 5-19 minutes
4rt. but some hand cream after u wash your hand
do this for a whole week

I always just use one of those giant nail buffers. You know the kind that has course on one side and fine and finer on the other side. If you just use the extra fine side it takes it right off.
Then buff with the shammy one for the shine back.
