This is the problem with one of my friends. I feel really sorry for her when she cannot wear any of the sleeveless outfits and when she discusses that how disgusting she feels, i fell really bad. Can any one tell me what could be the reason for such a thing to happen and any cure to get rid off this?

causes:
-wrong deodorant
-hereditary
-diabetic
-shaving the wrong way, plucking

solutions:
-try learning to shave right, or just wax. its best to wax rather than shave.
-clean well. after you wash off all excess deodorant, use a loofah to help get rid of dead skin cells. then give your self a good scrub. find a good body scrub.
-throw away your deo. it might contain a ingredient that actually causes darkening. Dark underarms could also be caused by regular use of deos and anti-perpirants, so try and keep your underarm region deo-free when you at home, and apply it on if you feel you need to. Instead of applying your deo when stepping out in the morning, apply it in the afternoon, when you feel you need to do so. If you are wearing sleeveless however, apply an anti-perspirant, and wash if off when you reach home
-get a peeling
-get an injection (but that should always be your last choice)

products i recommend: Godiva products are known for having good whitening products. go look at www.godivaskincare.com

hope this helps!

it's actually a very common thing for both women and men. i don't know the cause of it, but you could probably look it up here online.

there isn't much she can do to stop it all together, but she could try some skin lightening products on the affected areas. if she doesn't want to use chemicals, she can try some undiluted fresh lemon juice every day applied with a wash cloth. make sure to tell her to leave it on and not rinse it off. over time it will lighten the area. adding a routine of gentle exfoliation to the area every day will also help.

How cute! You're referring to yourself in the third person. I wouldn't worry about it. If someone makes fun of you because your armpits are dark, then they have way more serious issues in their head.
