are the things that come out in the internet such as rumours, true? they could just be lies right? because there was an article i read on the internet about a famous athlete but didn't come out in the newspaper.

but i have to say, there were many articles of the same issue. many articles saying the same thing but none of it came out in the newspaper. so it is a lie, no?

do some research before you believe anything.
You and I and everyone needs to learn to think and reason better so we can recognize the scams and urban legends for what they are.
what do you think? How can the info be fact checked?
Who is sending it and Do they have a hidden agenda? are just a few of the kinds of questions to ask when you are evaluating what you hear.

i would say the majority of things on the internet are either straight up lies or extremely exaggerated truths. dont trust everything you read...even in a newspaper.
