How many of you think horoscopes are wack?

This is my opinion but they never work its jus made up to fool ppl and i know lota ppl; who believe in it you make you own destiny not some words that some crackhead made up

Perhaps it's true, who knows. But who really knows anything? Most people just look at it for the fun of it. I get the paper, and I check it out, and that's the end of it. I don't make my life out of it, and that's the way it is with most people. We know that horoscopes are wack.. but it's just another fun thing to help people get through their boring days without killing themselves..

The Sun Sign horoscopes in newspapers, mags and books are childish. I studied Astrology under Fritzi Armstrong at Metaphysical Town Hall in San Francisco for months. One needs several books to do a horoscope: delineator, ephemerides and tables of houses. The Sun Sign has a small influence. One must look at the positions of all planets and the angles between them, their positions and aspects to the 12 houses, ascending and descending signs, etc. to properly do a horoscope. One must know the precise time and place of birth. Daylight savings time must be considered. It helps to be a goood mathematician. I was much better than my teacher in that respect. After doing horoscopes for many people, I can say with expertise that Astrology is nonsense. Believers see only parts of their horoscopes that may be somewhat correct while ignoring many more that are ridiculous.

unfortunately, you've probably only been exposed to "sun sign" astrology, which is very broad and really only a drop in the bucket. Astrology is basically a polaroid photo of the heavens at the exact moment of your birth. You will observe each planet at a different angle, both to each other and to the exact place at the time of your birth. It has been observed over the last 5000 years that these angles have a distinct effect upon human nature . . in short, the concept of being in touch with your birth chart gives you insight into your own nature with razor sharp precision, your strengths and weaknesses, as well as accurate timing for things in your life (for a positive outcome) . . you might consider consulting a good astrologer for a total interpretation, and then draw your own conclusions . . . I wish you good luck . . .

Personally, I think that Sun sign horoscopes are for fun and entertainment, but Astrology based on date, place and exact birth times is accurate.

The whole chart must be studied: planets in signs, planets in houses, the Asc, Des, MC and IC and aspects between the planets, luminaries and points.

The 12 houses cusps must be delineated, as well as rulerships in houses. ie. The ruler of the 1st house is in the 10th house etc for all 12 houses.

There is a wealth of information in one's birth chart if you know how to interpret it properly.

I have my horoscope on My Yahoo, I am really not into it, but I must admit that is is accurate. I usually read them at the end of the day, and the recap is quite accurate. I would not live by it, its entertainment as far as I am concerned.

You're right, they're very broad most of the time and can only apply to a fraction of people. The ones I've been getting from yahoo have been freakishly correlating to my life though.
But you are absolutley correct, only you can create your future, and your a victim of circumstance only if you choose. Life will throw you what it will, and you will do with it what you will.

God is the way to everything. No mere man can know anything better than Him. So I myself don't believe in any of these horoscope stuffs, it's not accurate in any way.
