Its only "bad" if you hurt yourself, or some one else.
When you infringe upon some one elses life, then you forfiet your liberty, by going to jail...
In this case, you canceled out a life, or injured them to the point that they will not function, so you should be locked up for life!!
If you dont hurt or kill some one, and "never" have an accident, it still doesnt make it right, its just that you were incredibly "blessed" that you werent liable for making someones life a tragedy...
Drink at home if you must, but dont drink and drive...
Also, if you drink a lof of beer, take a lot of potassium so you dont wreck your heart!!! Bananas and other things that are high in potassium is a "must", because you urinate it all out, when you drink!
I wish you well..
Jesse

YES! As a medic, all I have to say is as long as you stay out of my district, do whatever you want. I don't particularly enjoy being woken up (rather rudely I might add) at 3 o'clock in the morning to srcape your sorry a** off the road, try to patch you up, and usually end up with vomit, blood, piss, or all three all over the back of my rig and my boots. Not exactly how I enjoy spending my nights. Allthough, thanks to all the stupid people in the world, I have plenty of job security.

Go out and scrape some dead kids off the high way, after some drunk has run over them and then ask that. The drunks always say the same thing "I didn't mean to hurt anyone".

Yep. Just like driving and talking on a cell phone. Either way, you're gonna end up killing someone.

I hope you drive better than you spell. And YES---it is that bad if you consider how many people have died or been seriously injured due to drunk driving.

Yes, it is. You don't only put your own life in danger, you put the lives of others in danger as well. The day something goes wrong will be the day you might live with for the rest of your life. If it can go wrong, it might go wrong.

If you are particular about drinking while driving, drink water and drive.
