Best to sleep before 11pm.
Body start to self -repair between 11pm - 2 am.
Different time different part of the body. If you sleep late you might miss the repair work on certain part of your organ. If you sleep late regular your that particular organ will never get any repair and will become weaker.

Well, according to alternative health theories, the answer is YES, it will not be so good for your health.
This is because the body will actually recuperate and heal different parts of the body at different timing.
Eg, from 11pm to 2am in the morning, sleep is crucial as this is the time where the body produces a substance to heal your liver. When you do not sleep during this timing that substance is not produced and thus you miss out on it.
As a result, you have dark eye circles. So even though you sleep 8 hours as well, you still have dark eye circles.
If you did that everyday, you would miss out everyday.

Getting any sleep is better than no sleep. Some naturopaths will say that the sun's magnetic pull should naturally cause us to get sleepy when it gets dark, and awaken when it gets light. If your adrenaline gland isn't functioning properly (as mine is not, but I did have it working and was sleeping a couple of years ago), you won't sleep during the "natural" darkness time. Another school of thought is that our bodies also have something called a circadian rhythm, and that can determine which hours are naturally best for you. I have very bad insomnia. If I don't let myself sleep when I want to fall asleep right now, within reason, of course, I would always be sleep-deprived and never get any tissue repair done (which happens when you sleep).

It is better to sleep 6 to 8 hours daily. Out of the above, 2 hours may be in sound sleep is better for health. Genarally in night 11.00 PM to morning 4.00 AM is the sleeping for good. Further in day time 1 to 2 hours at mid day time is also better for healthy sleeping.

It is thought that it could be because humans are day creatures and so should sleep only during dark hours. I feel better when I sleep at night and wake up by ten. But usually I don't.

It does not matter as long as you get the 8-10 hours sleep. I worked for graveyard shift before, I usually sleep from 8am to 1pm but i'm still good and healthy. It is just a matter of adjusting your biological clock. Just like when you go to another country, you also have to adjust to their time.Hope this helps.God bless!

I think so.
It is best to sleep at around 10 pm to 12 am. Our body has a natural bio-clock and it is not good to sleep at your stated hours. It has been shown that night shift workers do not have very good health.

Weigh the times and hours you sleep with the time and hours you eat. Don't steal that phrase, because it is an idea for a new song I want to use.

most people would probably say yes, but actually i believe it's not, as long as you don't change your sleeping times often. remember, there's people within the Arctic and Antarctic Cirlce that have night and day each lasting six months! if sleeping during daytime is unhealthy, there surely is a study or research about it where you can find out more (google...)
