Will a new state/world religion be established in order to gain more power over people? Will the church be led into this thinking they can gain more money/power/hit points?

I am Satan. You'll have to take me kicking and screaming into heaven. I am the Church, more people, more money. Since we are one and the same - they must kick and scream at one of us.

I say that the next global religion will be based on thought....that would certainly be a change for the better.
The Church will fight logic as it always has and in the end the crackpots will kill us all because its Gods will.

-We already have too many religions with many sects and interpretations. Man does not certainly need a religion to talk to God.
-A faith may show straight path but sometimes followers can be misguided to serve Satan, certain people or some political agenda.
-God can be available inside your heart and mind if you worship him and love his creation.

Throughout the history our civilization is cycling between the extreme conservatism and religiosity on one hand, liberalism and secularism on the other. Presently we are at the conservative, religious stage. Lets hope it will not last I hate burkas.
