Love handles are hip bones!! They are called love handles because if they stick out far enough then people use them while having intercorse for something to hold on to.

Excess wait above your hips on your sides , which can be pinched or grabbed like handles....usually formed during the mid 20's to early 30's in men due to excessive beer consumption and lack of exercise.....yes I am a skinny guy with love handles
