Depends on the present. If it's something she'd really like, something you put thought into, it's great, if it's just some random POS you got cheap. it's less good. Most girls (at least quality ones) care more about thought than the price tag.

Yes it is for two reasons,
Firstly the thing is second hand, and nobody wants a present that somebody else has had or owned.
ALthough arguably it depends what it is,
Secondly the chances are you will buy something not only second hand but also cheaper than it would be normally and thus making yourself look cheap.

well...
first it shouldnt be the gift that matters, its the thought and the love put into the present that counts.
but if you are more into materialism, just make sure you buy her something she would like. it doesnt matter where its from as long as she will enjoy it.

If it's something you know she will like, I don't think it's bad. What counts are the thought and that you took the time to find the right gift for her.
