I believe so, because each and every little thing that's happened to us in the past led us to what and where we are today. Same goes with the people we meet, people we talk to. They each have their own roles in our lives, and us in theirs'. Most often than not, this is how one meets the person he/she's going to spend the rest of his/her life with; this is how one finds a friend; and this is how one finds an enemy.

Yes, I believe everything happens for a reason. Even the bad things. We all live our lives and make choices everyday that will have an effect in some way.
