I had them done 2ice through both ears by a jeweler the old fashion way with a cork and alcohol to pierce my ears.....that's was a fast aaaaaaaooooowwwww...

I have had 8 piercings, all done professionally:
First set when I was three or four years old, done by my cousin (later torn out and had to completely close and reheal).
2nd set when I was seven or eight (reopened my first piercing).
3rd set (a second hole behind my first) when I was 14.
Left Helix and tongue when I was 28 (done on the same day).
I would not recommend any self-piercing (unless you're a professional ^_~) as it can get infected very easily... and who knows where that needle you plan to pierce yourself has been... even with the flame or rubbing alcohol techniques (which are nowhere near what an autoclave can do), there's always the chance you didn't get all the diseases that lurk on the needle.

My parents got my ears pierced when I was still a baby. Then back in high school I got my ears pierced again even if my school didn't allow it (I went to an all girls Catholic school and so I never tucked my hair behind my ears until classes were over, hehe). So I had both my ears pierced twice, 2 piercings for each ear :)

I have 4 on each ear, not in the cartilage...also my (R) cholea. I had all of them done professionally. I gaged out my bottom(1st) holes to a 12 gage & the 2nd to bottom are a 14 gage. The other two are just normal post piercings. The cholea is a 14 or 12 Im not quite sure...lol

Two total, basic ear piercing on each ear. My mom had my ears pierced professionally when I was 5 months old.

One ear is peirced three times, and I'm a boy. A friend did the first one and I done the other two. No wait, the second was done by machine at the hairdressers. The third, I don't remember.

i first had a friend pierce my lobes at 4gauge then i guaged them to 5/8". then i pierced the cartilage on the top once. i had a conch (goes through the deep part of your ear) i had an orbital on my cartilage a tragis and an antitragis. two industrials. and that's it.
