The Da Vinci Code did not make me think this. It was actually something I learned on the History Channel several years ago. Jesus must have had a wife and children because if he hadn't, he wouldn't have been respected and taken seriously in the Jewish community. It is likely that his being married was edited out of the gospels later because the Catholic church wanted Jesus to have a more mystical reputation, more god than man.

Yes, the Da Vinci Code is Fiction, but it's based off of actual research. Watch the History Channel!!!! Certain people in history got to pick and choose what got in to the Bible. I think most people would think it was great if Jesus had living relatives today.

The question is not DO U BELIEVE JESUS HAD A BABY but DO U BELIEVE IN JESUS,see religion is based on belief and if u would want to believe that jesus had an offspring u could also believe that jesus did not perform any miracles and that jesus isnt the son of god but it was documented in the bible so just to give jesus a more divine stature,so my frnz its all left to u to believe as long as there is good there will be bad,so only believe whatu want to,and my personal view is that if jesus did realy have a child the scriptures would have propagated the child more than hide the fact,so its not true period.But u always have ur own choice of belief...

da vinci code is mostly fiction,and the truth in it is so twisted.but think of this,if he did have a kid,would it be written about?of course not because people would start thinking of him as being more human than God.the bible is too cryptic to give any answer so who knows?i believe he did not,but i would think he probably had deep feelings for mary m.and anyway who care,if he did or did not,he still my God and thats all that matters.

This question and/or its' answer is not important to me. If Christ married and fathered a child, that's fine with me. I don't think the "so called" proof substantiates the claim of fatherhood, so I maintain the belief that he was unwed and without issue. The important thing about Jesus is that he is my salvation; the way to the Father is through His son, Jesus Christ. I feel that Jesus lived as man and as the son of God, nothing changes the reason he was here and nothing changes the fact that he "Chose the Nails". The claims of his marriage and issue are so insignificant compared to his sacrifice that I fail to see the merit.

No, I dont think he had a baby, becuase I believe it would have been documented in the Bible. Although, to be honest it wouldnt bother me one tiny bit if he HAD had a baby, it wouldnt change the fact that I am a Christian and Jesus is my personal saviour. Why should it change anything? But personally I dont think he did.

no people will do everything they can to make believers out of anyone who will give them money and time in the bible it states there will b false prophets and so on, those that are easily fooled by this movie i feel really bad 4 u . u cant make it to heaven with doubt in your heart
