In the beginning of the school year last year, I wasn't very concerned about looks. I just wore what looked nice and made sure I looked presentable. I would wear some make up and usually have my hair in a ponytail. When the weather got hotter, I would wear a skirt instead of pants, flip flops, a bit more eyeliner, I got light brown streaks on my dark brown hair, and I stopped wearing my hair up everyday like I usually would. Some guys in the hall would say "Hey sexy" to me or "Hey babe" and I was so surprised. Normally, I would try to avoid eye contact with people or be nervous because I have always been a little shy around people I don't know well. Why do you think they started saying that stuff to me after the winter time when I started trying new things? I think it was because I made a change in what I would normally do everyday with my clothing and hair.

Honestly, I don't think they started remarking on your visuals because they noticed you' done something diffrent; that's just not how men function, trust me, I am one. They wouldn't know what half of the utensils are you mentioned in your question. What they notice is whether a female gets their attention or not - and that can be accomplished through the means you used. You're simply making more of yourself, and get noticed because of it. You asked whether you should continue making these changes; I'd say that depends on how comfortable you are with the results. If you like being noticed by guys, go for it. Just on't step over a certain boundary - I mean, the truth is, you can never do too much when it comes to making yourself more noticeable to males, it's just that from a certain point onwards, the type of guy you attract gets less desirable depending on the intensity of attention-grabbing you practise. Does that make some sense?

There is nothing the matter with you. You are only coming of age entering the teenage also known as the Age of Pimples. There is a sudden inner urge to look better, dress better. It has no direct connection with the attention you receive though it would not be correct to say it has nothing to do with it. It has. The normonal changes occuring suddenly develop an urge to besensitive to the remaks of those about you. While you need not be much carried away by them still it is a fact that you are to some extent so carried away. Again there is nothing awkward about it.Go on with the changes which are only the outward manifestation of inner development.

When you try new things, that is a sign you are confident and that is the key to appealing to the opp sex. you know! Also, try eye contact with everyone you walk by in the hall (especially when you are wearing that super cute outfit that makes you feel beautiful) you will notice that you will get a bigger, more postive responce from your peers than you could ever expect! trust me, been there! :)

Wear sensible clothes.Boys hit on girls all the time, and brag about it.If your half way attractive and dressed in a boiler suit, boys will still hit on you.Dress so that you feel good and are comfortable.Don't try to impress others by your clothes, only be impressive.Remember fine feathers make fine birds.
