Wow! There's a blast form the past! According to what I read, Sunny is still alive, and still in a coma, in a "private New York hospital."

Her husband, Claus von Bulow, was accused of trying to kill her with an overdose of insulin, the case was the basis of the movie "Reversal of Fortune", she is still in a coma after more than 25 years

As of 2005, there has been no published report of Sunny's death, and she apparently remains in a permanent vegetative state in New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, to which she was transferred in 1981 after initial treatment in Boston....
So, she is still alive....
